This is a story of a pet that
I once heard spent most of his time in the back yard
tied to a post.
This poor pet tried so hard
to get away, and he pulled and pulled,but the harder
he pulled, the tighter the knot became which held
him.
Finally,after a great deal
of pulling. the pet became exhausted and simply gave
up pulling, and let go.
Once he let go, the knot loosened
and finally the rope let go from around his neck,
and he was free of the struggle.
