And because your expectation
is that your pain will continue to debilitate you,
I want you to relax ...... think about a beautiful
island. This island is strong and full of life. There
is much vegetation and there are many natives. An
island that is in the prime of its life.
But, this island is suddenly
not the same as it once was
. something has happened
to the island
it is not so strong as it once
was
there is now an erupting volcano in its
center and it is causing havoc on the island. It is
hot ... hot and throbbing with fire. The natives are
all crying because they cannot enjoy their lives as
they once did. They cannot work happily on the island
they cannot make love like they used to
.. the
heat and throbbing of the volcano will not allow them
to move around as they used to
.they feel robbed
of their love for life
. The heat of the volcano
and its throbbing is causing them so much pain
What was once a strong and beautiful place is now
so sad.
As each and every native cries
... crying now ...from the very smallest one to the
largest one ..... you notice that rain clouds are
forming over the island ... The rain pours down blue
ice cold water. The water is so cold that it is an
ice rain .... extinguishing the volcano. If you listen
closely, you can hear the swishing sound of the fire
going out.... of the red disappearing
. Thats
right, you see the red, throbbing volcano being extinguished
by the cold blue ice rain..
The island is now a beautiful
place again. It is refreshed by the cold blue ice
rain. Once again it looks forward to having the natives
working and laughing and making love .... enjoying
all that life has to offer....
It seemed so bleak ... but
it is restored now ... what was so hopeless is now
renewed and full of joy
