Born and educated in Cambridge (UK),
Nathan's interest in Hypnosis developed from his study
of 'Auto-genics'. Auto-genics is a series of mind
& body exercises that were designed to promote
health by inducing deep relaxation, and stimulating
the body's self-healing mechanisms through visualization.
Surprised and impressed with his newly
discovered ability to decrease / increase body sensation,
and becoming deeply interested with the potential
of the human mind, the next enthusiastic step was
formal study and training in traditional Hypnosis,
NLP, and the modern or 'indirect' style, of Clinical
Hypnotherapy.
2003 marks the tenth year that Nathan
has been active in the field of hypnosis, and during
that time he has developed a more perceptive, and
highly flexible approach to his work, where his attitude
and insight demonstrates that he will give the client
exactly what they need, whether it be multi-session
therapy and gentle coaxing, or a very direct, no nonsense,
good old fashioned heart to heart! Either way, assisting
the client to create beneficial lasting change, is
his primary objective.
Nathan's driving belief is that anyone
can overcome the limitations that they may be experiencing,
yet only when they are sincere and committed to achieving
that goal, and through ongoing training and collective
therapeutic experiences with clients, his skills are
continually broadened, to the point where he honestly
states that he will not not work with a clients issues
that he believes are beyond his scope. To date however,
he hasn't refused a single a client....
Human Potential Technology™ is
the company owned by Nathan Marika, and was set up
in 1997 to provide individual therapy, training, and
audio products, using the latest innovations in behavioral
change techniques.
